Welcome to Our Website. We are a church well established in the community of Belmont offering ministry and hope for the past 95 years. Our calling and our goal is: To Know Christ and Make Him Known We have a variety of ways to do this and there are many opportunities for ministry here. As you browse, please know that we are here to serve the community and we pray for our community daily. We invite you to see what God is doing here, but most of all, we invite you to come and see what God is doing with your own two eyes. May God Richly bless you as you endeavor to do His will.A Word From Our ChurchThe purpose of faith is to find God's plan for our lives. We come to Him in order to find meaning in our struggles and help for the journey. God has established churches to be his hands and feet in the world, to be havens of rest where believers can come and grow and where those searching souls may find peace. There are many churches to choose from in our community. Some of you may drive by ten or twelve everyday on your drive to work. But if you have driven by and wondered what that church was like, that is no accident. Listen to God calling to your heart. God wants us to find relationships that nurture our best selves and give us a sense of our calling, our mission, and our ministry. Everyone in our church is a minister. We strive to help each person equip themselves for the task God has placed before them. I firmly believe that God is equipping us for our unique ministry to the community. We are a traditional church, celebrating the best of Baptist tradition and the wider traditions of the church universal. We offer an alternative approach to ministry in Belmont, always striving to be ourselves and not simply duplicating others in doing ministry. We take the Bible seriously and offer rigorous study through our Sunday School and Wednesday Night programs. We are a prayerful people. We are a friendly people. I guess you can tell by now my bias, but I believe that this church is a wonderful place for families and others to find the Presence of God. We invite you to come and see.
